hmm.... the one reason i bought this Liquid RTV Silicone is because it's better rather then using Silicone Sealer. Although it can be done but only if you are totally out of or can't find any resources in your place.

The hardener? it's to make the silicone become harder the more of the hardener added the quicker curing time of the silicone to become harden or in another word dry up. Therefore the mixture must be accurate. I don't have any experience with this things before. I guess i have to try and figure it out later.

Planning to do the molding part soon "Hopefully".

As a summary:-

it is suitable for a variety of industrial and art related applications including prototypes, furniture and architectural elements.

RTV-silicone can also be used to cast a variety of materials including wax, gypsum, low melt alloys/metals and urethane, epoxy or polyester resins (without using a release agent)

Even though it said doesn't need release agent but just to play safe i will apply a bit onto my mask that i have crafted.

Continue from the previous report, here is the result that i have done so far on the Mia mask Ver. 2.



The left mask (blank mask) is the one i have been doing for this few weeks or months. It took me a while to do it because i have to divide my times on my actual works and have to continue to do the mask during night time "^^

It seem that some surface still need to be improve and sanding is needed before i would able to make a mold out of this.

As Little Yui Hirasawa Nendoroid spotted the uneven area which needed to be aware of it.

Anyway a part of it, Do you spotted any different between the two masks?

i will show more of the photo on the comparison after i have smooth out everything. Till then i will end my reports here.

Lately i have been trying to reduce the size on Mia mask and some errors or mistakes that i have done on the 1st version of Mia mask. To reduce the part which i have to reduce the size and height, i have do some sanding and plastering on some area. In the end after a few weeks hard work i can able to show the out come of it for sharing.



So i put the Version one of Mia mask to be compare with the one i have craft it lately.
As usual i use the little Yui Hirasawa nendoroid as the model in this photo.

Well... it's been a while since I'm waiting for my Molding powder and my Pop bandage@ Plaster bandage. It's lucky that i able to find some casting material within my country ^^. If not i will try to use other items that i can find .. but it's quite troublesome "^^.

hmm... speaking that the things that i have order have arrived, where is my mask which i need to cast? "^^

Lately i have been reduce and improve Mia mask that i have made for the first time. Hope i will cast it soon on the mask that i have try to improving. i will show to you on my next report.

After trying to look for Mia Mask improvement for my 2nd kigurumi mask that i planning to do soon ^^. But now i'm trying to gather the material that i need to make the mask. So i refer on Mia photo that i have captured or taken before for my research.



Thanks to the Mia's photo, i have able to learn and jot down some information on my notebook. While looking all the photo from A to Z of Mia's photos, still.... i like this photo of her. It's the first time for Mia to take some photo for a test or trial. "^^

This is the photo that i mean which i like best.



mmm...better start to work on the Mask of Mia for improvement before casting in order to make 2nd kigurumi mask soon.
